Due to our continual growth, we are currently seeking to recruit a Health and Safety Consultant to expand our team.
This is an opportunity to join a professional and friendly team that provides Health and Safety support to clients in the region and at times across the UK. We support businesses across a range of sectors including Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, Waste Management, Hospitality & Leisure, and Retail & Commercial. We provide cost‑effective, pragmatic and user‑friendly support to help reduce risk within the workplace.
Roles & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking visits to client premises and sites, completing Health and Safety policies, audits and investigations, producing high‑quality reports and documentation, and providing ongoing support and guidance to a portfolio of clients. The role is based out of our offices in Wetherby but will predominantly involve visiting clients at their operational locations; as such, candidates must be flexible to national travel and potential overnight stays.
We are looking for a Health and Safety professional who can work autonomously, has excellent communication skills, and can develop positive working relationships with clients. They must be self‑motivated, confident in delivering to deadlines and have good written and IT skills.
Minimum Qualifications
* Have a minimum of 5 years experience in Health and Safety
* Have a qualification in Health and Safety
* Have some construction and live site related experience (desirable but not essential)
* Have a full UK driving licence and access to own car
* Have access to suitable facilities for flexible home working needs
