Your Role and Responsibilities
As our Building Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our Mechanical, Electrical, and Technology team. Your expertise will guide the design and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in various structures. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
* Lead the design process for all building services, ensuring MEP systems are integrated and perform optimally.
* Plan, organize, and oversee the execution of building services projects, delivering them on time and within budget.
* Manage and mentor a talented team of engineers and designers, fostering effective communication with clients, architects, and contractors.
* Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards while promoting sustainable design solutions.
* Identify and resolve technical challenges during the design and construction phases.
* Provide strategic direction to grow the team and establish collaborative, commercially effective relationships.
What We're Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You are a Chartered Engineer and a member of CIBSE or IET, with a degree in Mechanical Building Services or Electrical Engineering.
* You have significant experience and a proven track record in managing multi-discipline technical teams.
* You possess a high level of knowledge in your discipline and are familiar with industry-standard design software, including Cymap, Amtech, NBS, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and PowerBI.
* You are driven to achieve sustainable performance against challenging business targets.
