We are looking for a customer-oriented Barista with a real passion for coffee to join our team. As a Barista at The Lemon Tree, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring a positive experience. If you have a background in the restaurant or hospitality industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Pay will be dependent of experience.
Duties:
* Greet customers as they enter the shop and provide them with assistance.
* Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
* Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services
* Ensure that the front of house is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
* Provide table service
* Assisting the kitchen in the safe and efficient transportation of food from the kitchen to the tables.
* Adhering to the dress code standards.
* Any other reasonable duties as requested by management from time to time.
Staff training will be given.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with coffee is essential.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work weekends, and holidays as needed is essential.
* Be 18+
Opportunities:
There will be opportunities for promotion to positions such as Head Barista, FOH Supervisor/Manager as well as the potential to take SCA Barista Skills courses to work towards getting a SCA Diploma.
