Job Description
As our next Night Manager, you:
1. Are the Manager on Duty and responsible for all hotel operations during overnight shift hours, focusing on Front Office operations, night audit and hotel safety/security.
2. You will assist the Front Office Manager in all aspects of the department including but not limited to operations, planning, budgeting, staffing and payroll in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
3. Are passionate about guests and delivering great service.
4. Have a strong level of knowledge and experience across the operations.
5. Have a hands-on approach, are organised and supportive of your team, providing guidance and support and managing hotel operations during the night.
6. Take initiative and are reactive to situations as they arise, finding suitable solutions and ensuring a positive outcome.
7. Are results-driven and understand what needs to be done in order to achieve the hotel goals.
8. Undertake night audits and corridor checks to make sure everyone in the hotel is safe and looked after.
9. Maintain strong working relationships and communicate with all departments, ensuring a continuous link between night and day.
10. Adheres to and promotes the Company’s Health & safety policies to ensure a safe work environment and knowledgeable all safety & emergency procedures ensuring a clean and safe working environment
Qualifications
11. A friendly, guest-focused personality with a passion for hospitality.
12. Ability to use Property Management System software such as OPERA Cloud
13. Competency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
14. Previous experience as a Night Manager would be desirable
15. Ability to work independently and manage night shifts responsibly
16. Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
17. Availability to work night shifts (10:45PM – 7:00 AM) and weekends
18. Attention to detail and accuracy
19. Understanding of hotel and financial security procedures as well as guest confidentiality

To ensure you can best welcome and care for our guests you will need to be fluent in English.
