Lionheart School is a pupil referral unit located on the Isle of Wight, dedicated to providing high-quality education and holistic development opportunities for students. We are currently seeking a full-time Lead Practitioner in Medical (Senior Leadership) to join our dynamic team to provide clinical expertise to Lionheart School, supporting the delivery of education for medical students within the PRU.
In order to apply you will need to be a qualified nurse with a current registration with NMC. You will have up to date healthcare knowledge and skills relevant to
the post and be able to provide evidence of the ability to work across agencies politically to support a whole systems approach to service delivery. You will have a detailed understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures, clinical governance arrangements and the ability to make decisions in these areas. You must fully understand the complexities of meeting children and young people's SEND needs from a medical perspective, and how these can be met and delivered in an individualised way to maximise educational outcomes. You will be required to lead and model a collaborative and influencing style of working, negotiating and influencing with staff, pupils and parents to achieve best outcomes.
