Senior National Account Manager (High Street)

We are hiring a Senior National Account Manager to lead our High Street channel on a 12 month fixed term contract starting June, covering maternity leave.
This is a senior role with real ownership. You will drive and deliver growth across multiple High Street retailers, owning the channel plan and trading performance, while also line managing an Account Manager and an Account Executive who support other retailers.
What you will do
* Own High Street channel performance and deliver sales and profit targets.
* Lead Joint Business Plans, range reviews, pricing, promo and trading calendars.
* Identify and land new listings, new categories, incremental space and growth opportunities.
* Run weekly trading cadence, forecasting and performance tracking with clear actions.
* Build senior buyer relationships and lead commercial negotiations.
* Ensure best in class execution across availability, NPD launches and in store activation.
* Line manage and develop an Account Manager and Account Executive, setting priorities and standards.
* Work closely with brands to deliver agreed outcomes, in tandem with their business objectives.

* You have a track record of driving growth in UK retail, not just maintaining accounts.
* You are structured and proactive, you move quickly and get things over the line.
* You are strong on numbers and can translate data into actions.
* You can lead people and set a high bar.
* You can manage stakeholder relationships third party and retailer.
Minimum requirements
* 4+ years experience as a National Account Manager within UK retail.
* 2+ years direct responsibility for High Street accounts (Boots, Superdrug, Holland & Barrett, WHSmith, or similar).
* Proven experience owning JBPs, negotiations, promotions and range reviews.
* Line management experience, or clear evidence of leading and developing others.
* Happy with hybrid working, Nottingham office at least 1-2 day per week plus customer travel as needed
