Relief Security Officer Location: Diageo Shieldhall, Glasgow Working Pattern: Flexible shifts, 42 hours per week Salary: £13.10 per hour Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time We’re recruiting for a proactive and adaptable Relief Security Officer to join our security team at Diageo Shieldhall in Glasgow. This flexible role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in dynamic environments, and is confident working across different shift patterns as required by the site. As a key member of the team, you will help maintain the security and safety of staff, visitors and the site itself by providing consistent cover across shifts when needed. What you’ll do: Provide security cover across a variety of shift patterns to support the core team Carry out regular patrols and respond to incidents promptly and professionally Monitor site activity, including CCTV and alarm systems Enforce access control and visitor management procedures Complete detailed and accurate incident reports Deliver excellent customer service to employees, clients, and contractors What you bring: A valid and current Security Guard SIA licence First Aid certification Experience in a security role, ideally in a fast-paced or corporate environment Confidence, flexibility, and strong communication skills Basic PC literacy and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems Full UK driving licence Must be 18 or over due to licencing requirements Site-specific benefits include: Free on-site parking Employee discount scheme What We Offer Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
