Graduate Countermeasure Development Engineer
Location: Lincoln (LN6)

As part of our Electronic Warfare Support Group (EWOS), the Countermeasure Development team provides technical advice and support to customers in countermeasure development, engineering support, research, training, and bid delivery. You will have the opportunity to develop our in-house countermeasure simulation software, CounterWorX, working with our software development team and following the necessary assurance processes.
The team operates across two MASS sites: our head office in Little Paxton and the Lincoln offices on Teal Park. When project classifications permit, the team typically works three days in the office and two days remotely, offering flexibility and collaboration.

As a graduate, you will gain immediate project experience, solving customer challenges. This rapidly growing team offers career development within the team and the broader EWOS group.
Core Skills and Experience
* Degree in a STEM subject, ideally Mathematics, Physics, or Electronics
* Experience with programming software (MATLAB, Simulink, Python, etc.)
* Understanding of Physics/Mathematical principles at degree level
* Knowledge of Electro-Optics (EO), Infra-Red (IR), or Radio Frequency (RF) sensors in a defense context
Desirable Skills
* Understanding of mathematics or physics related to Radar, EO, or IR systems
* Experience with modeling techniques (stochastic, deterministic, exploratory)
* Understanding of the engineering development lifecycle
* Interest in new technologies within EW domain
Security Clearance Requirements
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Able to obtain and maintain UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance
