What you will need
* British Citizen
* Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Level 3 qualification or Apprenticeship
* Experienced in reading and interpreting assembly drawings and planning instructions
* Skilled in inspecting mechanical hardware for damage and build integrity
What you will be doing
* Inspect and certify mechanical builds, from small fixtures to complex systems
* Ensure all manufacturing documentation is complete and accurate
* Maintain high workmanship and product quality standards
* Collaborate with Operators, Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical challenges
* Support programme targets on time, cost and quality
* Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the team
Your experience
* Practical experience in mechanical inspection and manufacturing
* Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
* Familiarity with ESD and FOD awareness is advantageous
* Flexible, adaptable and able to work under deadlines
* Able to produce work to very high standards
Salary and rewards
Up to £43,000 plus an annual performance-related bonus, a pension scheme with contributions up to 14 per cent, and flexible working arrangements
