They’re looking to appoint a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor who wants to play a meaningful role in that journey, not just sit within a large, layered commercial team.
This is a business that has undergone a recent restructure and is now on a clear upward trajectory, with turnover increasing to circa £40m and a strong pipeline already secured for the coming year.
The company has built its reputation on repeat business, quality delivery, and long-standing relationships with Tier 1 main contractors.
You’ll be joining at a point where the business is scaling, but still retains a collaborative, close-knit feel, offering genuine influence rather than being just another number in a large commercial team.
The Role
* Commercial management of MEP packages on projects typically ranging from £4m – £20m
* Working closely with Project Directors and operational teams to drive commercial performance
* Managing subcontract procurement, variations, valuations and final accounts
* Providing accurate forecasting and cost reporting
* Supporting and mentoring junior QS staff where required
* Engaging with clients and main contractors to maintain strong working relationships
The Projects
Predominantly London-based commercial schemes, including:
* CAT A / CAT A+ office refurbishments
* High-end CAT B fit-outs
Recent and upcoming schemes include prime Central London projects such as major office developments and high-spec commercial fit-outs.

What They’re Looking For
* Proven experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor within a contractor environment
* Experience delivering commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects
* Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical packages
* Ability to manage projects independently while contributing to a wider team
* Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and confident in client-facing situations
