Overview
Assistant Events Manager at Hyatt Regency Birmingham. As part of the Food & Beverage function, you will take the lead on Events Operations, organising and delivering both corporate and social events to ensure maximum guest satisfaction and adherence to hotel standards.
Responsibilities
* Proactively organise and deliver corporate and social events, ensuring guest satisfaction and hotel standards.
* Support stock and inventory management, liaise with Sales on bookings and enquiries.
* Develop, train and motivate a team to perform at their best, recognising the importance of individual development.
* Work across a 24‑hour schedule, with duties varying Monday to Sunday and participation in the Duty Management schedule.
Qualifications
* Proven track record assisting in the management of a successful Events operation of similar size and standard within a hotel environment.
* Solid understanding of Food & Beverage and Event Operations (including setups), with confidence in suggesting process improvements.
* Familiarity with Micros and Microsoft Office packages essential.
* Well‑presented with excellent verbal and written English skills.
