£26,000 - £28,000 DOE.
Gillingham, Kent
About the Role
Are you a strong communicator who thrives on building great relationships and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We’re looking for a Customer Service Account Handler to join a busy, fast-paced service team.
You’ll act as the key contact for a portfolio of clients, making sure maintenance work, remedial projects, and emergency callouts are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest standard. This is a role where no two days are the same — you’ll juggle schedules, coordinate engineers, and provide top-notch service that keeps clients coming back.
What You’ll Be Doing
Coordinating planned maintenance and remedial works with both clients and field engineers.
Managing follow-up actions such as purchase orders, job updates, and client communications.
Making sure all work is completed within KPI targets and remains commercially sound.
Building strong, long-term client relationships, including occasional site visits.
Handling incoming queries and resolving issues quickly and professionally.
Managing emergency callouts in line with contract requirements.
Completing essential admin tasks such as data entry, document processing, and record keeping.
Supporting the wider service team to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who:
Has a proactive, customer-first mindset and excellent communication skills.
Can multitask and stay calm under pressure in a busy service environment.
Is confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems.
Has great attention to detail and a commitment to doing things right first time.
Works well as part of a team but can also take ownership of individual tasks.
Brings positivity, resilience, and a problem-solving attitude to work every day.
Previous experience in a customer service, coordination, or account management role (especially within a technical or service-based industry) would be a real advantage.
Why You’ll Love Working Here

Generous annual leave allowance – 22 days holiday plus BH.
Company pension scheme
Health and wellbeing support (including access to healthcare plan)
Free on-site parking
Employee discounts and referral bonuses
Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
