Job Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the continuous improvement of the firm's Oracle HCM platform, ensuring the platform is developed to achieve the required business outcomes across the various modules including Core HR, Absence, Recruitment, Benefits.
Develop the AI roadmap for Oracle HCM and other HR systems against the organisation's AI ambition.
Operate as an internal consultant, leading thinking and adoption of HR best practice approaches to technology and the underlying processes
Lead on the delivery of high-quality technology enhancements to solve business process problems and deliver business outcomes
Maintain robust processes for gathering requirements and delivering / recommending actions for any process changes and system enhancements.
Ensure HR System management to include configuration / testing / customising / liaising with suppliers
Regular communication with key stakeholders and internal customers
Partner with IT and third-party vendors to architect integration solutions between HR systems, business enterprise platforms and external systems.
Provide management reports for senior stakeholders, delivering accurate analytics with added value
Implement and manage Change management / control processes, including the ability to implement ensure governance and control around system and process enhancements
Managing supplier relationships, ensuring SLA's are met and outcomes are achieved
Monitoring system and team performance against SLAs and escalating issues as required
Coach and support the development of the HR systems team, increasing the range of skills and supporting a climate of continuous improvement
Advising and guiding HR system users and championing best practice as regards HR systems in support of HR and Pinsent Masons policies
Responsibility for managing, coaching and developing a team of Solution Developers/MI Analyst.
Operational Duties:
Be responsible for the global HR system (Oracle HCM)
Develop the Management Information provision taking it to the next level around the provision and evaluation of data, identifying key trends and providing meaningful analysis
Enhance the performance and integration of the system
Deliver system improvements to deliver operational and strategic improvements
Work with HR teams and the wider business to map out processes and long term improvements
Manage the global HR system and tools (maintenance, and functionality improvements)
Improve user experience
Drive efficiencies through optimisation of the system
Knowledge and Experience:
Hands on experience of configuration and development of HR Systems – Oracle HCM preferable
Experience of leading a Systems team, which is responsible for delivering Management Information and owning the HR system
Experience of building system integrations with other key functions and systems (Finance, IT, Payroll)
Experience of working in an environment of change, adapting and leading staff through the experience.
Good knowledge of system governance – improving protocols for requirements gathering, engaging with internal users and stakeholders, testing, change management.
Ability to communicate effectively, managing multiple stakeholders and priorities
Process/ BA qualifications advantageous.

Lead, develop, coach and motivate the Systems and Data Analysts to deliver an efficient and effective systems and data service
Leadership skills, ensuring effective line management, task allocation and supporting delivery in a fast paced environment
Configuration/development of HR Systems
Engaging with and delivering outcomes for key stakeholders and internal clients
The ability to run workshops – e.g. requirements gathering, process mapping
Problem solving/ trouble shooting
Sound communication skills including knowledge transfer (written and oral)

Sound time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
