Core Responsibilities Curriculum Delivery: Teaching Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), with the opportunity to teach A-Level Mathematics (including Pure, Mechanics, and Statistics) for the right candidate. Problem-Solving Pedagogy: Designing lessons that challenge students to apply algebraic, geometric, and statistical principles to complex, multi-step problems. Data Literacy: Teaching students how to interpret and analyse data sets, helping them understand the role of probability and statistics in modern society. Calculus & Trigonometry: Leading students through the higher-level functions required for further education in engineering and the physical sciences. Support & Intervention: Utilizing diagnostic assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and delivering targeted support to ensure all students meet or exceed their potential. The Successful Candidate We are looking for a mathematician who can inspire curiosity and resilience in the classroom. Requirements include: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related quantitative field (e.g., Physics or Engineering).
