Vehicle Service Advisor required in North Bristol.

Our client, a multi-award-winning dealer group with 15 sites across the Thames Valley, M4 corridor, and South Wales, is currently looking to recruit a Service Advisor for their dealership located in North Bristol.
Reporting to the Service Manager and working alongside another Vehicle Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing a proactive service to customers requesting to schedule their vehicles in for MOTs, servicing, maintenance, or repair work and arranging, where necessary, a courtesy vehicle. As a Vehicle Service Advisor, you will greet customers into the Service Department, extensively liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress, carry out upselling of additional products and services where possible, and keep customers informed of the progress on their vehicle, amongst other ad-hoc responsibilities.
The successful candidate would ideally be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in total customer satisfaction. Very strong organisational skills, along with IT literacy, would be of high priority. Experience working in a similar role as a Vehicle Service Advisor would be highly beneficial; however, our client is willing to consider candidates with no direct experience in the role, provided they come from a strong customer service-oriented role in the motor trade and they have a full, clean UK driving license with minimal points.

11. 40-hour week with 8-hour shifts between 8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday. Staggered shift patterns ranging week to week (from 8:00am-4:30pm to 9:30am-6:00pm). No weekends required currently, although this could be subject to change.
