The Role

As part of the commercial or pricing function, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, supporting them with pricing strategy, financial insight and commercial analysis. You will be involved throughout the full pricing lifecycle, from client proposals and tenders through to fee negotiations, delivery review and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, commercial judgement and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery in a professional services environment.


Key Responsibilities

* Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a key advisor on pricing and commercial strategy
* Prepare pricing and financial input for client proposals, tenders and pitch materials, aligned to commercial objectives
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop and review pricing strategies, including rate structures and alternative pricing models
* Provide expert pricing support across business areas, influencing commercial decisions and outcomes
* Support stakeholders in understanding and applying financial and pricing levers to drive profitability and value
* Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support pricing decisions and negotiations
* Support the pricing lifecycle, including involvement in client-facing fee discussions where required
* Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of pricing policies and best practice
* Conduct post-engagement reviews to assess profitability and identify improvement opportunities
* Produce and interpret financial analysis to support informed, data-driven decision-making
* Design and deliver pricing and commercial training to improve understanding and capability across the business
* Support pricing-related initiatives and wider commercial projects, driving innovation and continuous improvement
* Work collaboratively with finance, business services and operational teams, both locally and internationally


Skills and Experience

We are looking for a commercially focused pricing professional who is confident influencing senior stakeholders and driving improved outcomes.


You will bring:

* Proven experience in pricing, commercial finance or a related discipline, ideally within a professional services environment
* Strong commercial awareness with a focus on profitability and client value
* Evidence of delivering positive pricing or commercial outcomes
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
* Strong analytical capability with experience in financial modelling and scenario analysis
* A proactive, inquisitive and solutions-focused mindset
* Good negotiation and persuasion skills
* The ability to identify commercial risk and escalate appropriately
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Accountancy qualification
* Experience within legal or professional services
