THE EMPLOYER IS: BROTHERS AUTISM SOCIAL ENTERPRISE CICOur Film Media Content Officer is responsible for creating, editing, and distributing a variety of media, with a focus on video, to support an organisation's communication and marketing goals. Key duties include developing creative content from start to finish-including scripting, filming, and editing-managing media projects, and ensuring all content complies with relevant regulations like copyright and GDPR. This role also involves understanding different marketing channels, analysing content performance, and collaborating with other teams.Other typical duties may be required to meet the needs of the organisation.All employees will be required to embrace and adhere to our overall Vision, our Mission, and Values during their time of employment.
Responsibilities
* Film, shoot and edit video, audio, and other multimedia content (like infographics and photos) for various digital and print channels.
* Manage content projects from concept to completion, including preparing briefs, setting deadlines, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
* Distribute content across multiple channels, such as websites, social media, newsletters and press releases.
* Develop content strategies, identify opportunities for impactful storytelling and use analytics to measure content effectiveness and inform future activities.
* Ensure all content adheres to legal requirements, including copyright, data protection (GDPR), and accessibility standards.
* Use industry-standard software for production and editing, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition.
* Work closely with marketing teams and other departments to ensure content aligns with organizational goals and branding.
Skills and Qualifications
* Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in video production and editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
* Knowledge of how content works across different digital channels, including social media, web, and email.
* Ability to adapt content for different channels and audiences, as well as a willingness to learn new trends and technologies.
