Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Therapy Assistants to join our friendly community teams in West Kent.
The Community Rehabilitation Teams are made up of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, therapy assistants and apprentices who deliver personalised rehabilitation care plans to patients in their own homes. We always strive to achieve the best outcomes for the individuals we treat, to ensure they achieve their full potential and the greatest level of functional independence possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the qualified therapists to deliver high quality care to patients in their own homes.
* Be competent in the use of IT systems to document patient care.
* Follow treatment plans and monitor change in patient condition.
* Provide equipment provision and ordering.
* Demonstrate sound organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* Be able to liaise with wider multidisciplinary team.
Job Details
We have upcoming opportunities in our Maidstone Team. The candidates will need to be able to drive, have a full UK driving licence and have access to a car, as will requirement to travel across the locality. The post is full time (37.5 hours) with part time and flexible working arrangements considered.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must be currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts or the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB). Full UK driving licence is required. We are committed to supporting candidates with disabilities.
