Breakfast & After School Club Deputy Manager - Highfield Spencer role at Junior Adventures Group UK. Start Date: ASAP. Location: Highfields Spencer Academy, Littleover, Derby, DE23 3UX.
Hours and contracts vary by term time and holidays. 22 hours per week during term time (with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week during holiday clubs). Operational hours during term time: Monday to Friday, 07:15 - 09:00 and 15:00 - 18:00. Operational hours during school holidays: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30. Pay: £14.00 per hour. Contracts available: Term Time only or Fixed 52 week Permanent contract.

Responsibilities
* Support in managing, directing, and assisting team members in their delivery of a safe and effective programme, ensuring a motivated and happy team.
* Plan and execute structured and engaging activities that encourage maximum participation (e.g., multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, structured play), ensuring activities are age-appropriate.
* Ensure effective communication between the Club Manager, venue, team, parents, the school or host leisure centre, and Central Operations.

Requirements and compliance
* This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
* You must provide two references (one from your most recent employer and one from a childcare setting, if applicable).
* We will conduct a DBS check on your behalf; please prepare the correct documentation. You must meet these requirements to be eligible for the hiring process.
