As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a vital role in all aspects of mechanical engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of mechanical engineering across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. Your Purpose:
* Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones and deadlines.
* Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Adhere to quality assurance standards in design processes.
What you can bring:
* Chartered Mechanical Engineer.
* Experience in leading multidisciplinary design delivery.
* Thorough knowledge of mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, screens, and chemical dosing plants, along with understanding UK design standards and practices.
* Strong understanding of legislation like CDM and ATEX.
