Job Description
As a Duty Manager, you will:
7. Act as the go-to leader onsite, ensuring smooth daily operations
8. Be present in public areas, leading by example and resolving guest issues promptly
9. Supervise the shift and support all departments, especially Reception, F&B, and Housekeeping coordination
10. Support the team in busy periods, helping with check-ins, breakfast service, bar operations or back-office tasks
11. Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service
12. Monitor guest feedback and handle escalations with professionalism
13. Ensure safety, cleanliness, and service standards are maintained
14. Be part of the Duty Management rota, including early, late and weekend shifts
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who:
15. Has previous experience in a hotel Front Office or F&B role, ideally in a supervisory or team leader capacity
16. Is confident, approachable, and hands-on
17. Can multitask and remain calm under pressure
18. Is tech-savvy and familiar with hotel systems (Opera Cloud experience is a bonus)
19. Understands the basics of health & safety and GDPR procedures
20. Has strong communication skills and is fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
21. Has the right to work in the UK and is flexible to work different shifts based on business needs
