Job Description Bank Radiology Administrator - Rowley Hall Hospital - Bank Hours The Role We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and professional individual to join our administration Team. The successful candidate will be expected to offer a comprehensive and varied service to consultants, sonographers, radiologists and radiographers. Where you’ll be based Rowley Hall Hospital is one of Staffordshire's leading private hospitals located in a Georgian listed building in five acres of Rowley Park, only five minutes from the centre of Stafford. The hospital opened in 1987 and currently has 13 bedrooms, all with en suite facilities. By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. Two fully equipped theatres with ultra clean air technology are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement and spinal surgery. In addition, there is a full out patient service 08:00-20:00, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities Receiving and making telephone calls Booking appointments on radiology information system (RIS) Calling patients to confirm appointments prior to lists Creating new referrals on EPR Booking appointments face to face Liaising with consultants, sonographers, radiologists and radiographers Liaising with other hospital departments including out patients, bookings and medical records Transfer of images utilising the Image Exchange Portal (IEP) Maintaining excel spreadsheets for DNAs, IEP, external referrals other administrative tasks as required Knowledge of electronic patient record and radiology information systems is desirable but not essential as full training will be given on all systems Knowledge of MS Word and Excel Following appointment, external candidates must be available to attend face to face mandatory training (paid) What is a Bank contract A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week.
