General Manager – Historic Venue, Surrey, Up to £80k + Bonus
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced General Manager to join the team at a stunning Historic Venue in Surrey. This is a unique site with multiple food and beverage outlets and so we are seeking a senior leader with a real passion for food and service. It’s an incredible opportunity for someone who is looking for an exciting new challenge!
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
* To build a high performing team by managing and motivating staff
* Manage and develop the catering, bar services and events to deliver a financially viable and high-quality operation
* Accountable for all financial controls, budgets, and reports
* Continually reviewing and implementing processes to effect improved efficiencies
* Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met
* Focus on guest satisfaction delivering 5 star service and product
EXPERIENCE:
* Proven track record in operational management of a large scale or multifaceted venue
* Experience working within a food led business
* Financial management – able to run a P&L
* Strong leadership style
* Great communication skills
* Excellent understanding of health and safety, compliance and legal regulations
* Hands on and not scared to get stuck in!
