As a Marketing Manager, you will execute in the year communication of vision and strategy, input into future strategy, delivering against overall business, market share and equity objectives, and have autonomy in execution of role.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver external and internal communication plans
* Own platform content and events strategy
* Deliver targeted campaigns for recruitment of frontline workforce to targets
* Line manages a marketing assistant
* Reporting of own and marketing assistants' activity
* Manage Media and PR partnerships
* Track budget and own spend for communications
* Partner with senior management, lead projects and cross functional teams in shaping a robust channel strategy
* Collaborate closely with the full marketing team and cross-functional teams (i.e. Bids, Sales) and lead on compelling content creation to deliver on shared objectives
* Develop strategy and develop and/or adapt Content and Digital assets centred around the client & anchored to the brand strategy. Responsible for the strategic planning, briefing & deployment across the full channel mix
* Work as a partner to other team members adding value and helping others to develop
* Develop and maintain strong relationships, ensuring ongoing alignment and engagement & build a strong One Sureserve culture across companies
* Monitor market, brand and competitor performance. Ensure a deep understanding of the key drivers behind our market evolution, share and sales performance, in order that ongoing recommendations can be made to the business
* Support the business in carrying out duties as required in this fast-paced marketing environment as the business and roles evolve
Qualifications
* Undergraduate degree preferred
* Progressive marketing experience required
* Experience working in b2b selling to housing associations or local authority strongly preferred
* Able to work in an agile structure and influence senior managers in the business
* A genuine team player with a real desire to constantly learn & share ideas with colleagues across multi-functional business teams
* A strong grasp of strategic marketing is required, with experience of all the key disciplines
* Excellent content writing ability
* Experienced marketing in a digital world, (i.e. social media, e-commerce, analytics, campaign manager) is required
* Advertising / campaign development experience is required
* A desire and an ability to thrive in changing times & to be flexible to respond to changing business requirements in a complex environment
* Ability to build trust‑based relationships and work under own initiative through an inspirational leadership style
* Strong focus on performance and strategic agility required
* Analytical ability can readily interpret data and is familiar with key research techniques
* Ability to identify/create consumer insights and translate into winning concepts/claims
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
