My client is a firmly established SME manufacturing company focused on the supply of metal:based components across a range of sectors. They are seeking a Metrology Engineer to join their existing team. As a Metrology Engineer, you will be focusing on measuring NPI parts, quality inspection, operating, setting and calibrating CMM equipment.
Metrology Engineer Responsibilities:
: Operating, setting and calibrating CMM equipment
: Measuring production and NPI parts
: Input into the NPI, APQP, PPAP processes
: Ensure that parts meet technical and industry specifications
: Analyse measurement data and identify areas of improvement
Metrology Engineer Requirements:
: Previous experience working within a Metrology or CMM position
: Experienced in using metrology laboratory equipment
: Must have a good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
: Must be a team player
: Able to program and calibrate metrology machinery
