We are currently recruiting for a Marine Assistant to join a well-established and growing organisation within the maritime sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within port and marine operations. The successful candidate will support the safe and efficient management of marine activity within harbour limits, working as part of a professional Marine Services team. The role operates on a 12-hour night shift rota, including weekends and public holidays, averaging approximately 2 shifts per week as part of a job share arrangement. Duties will include: * Supporting the safe coordination of vessel and harbour operations * Maintaining effective communication with port users and marine personnel * Monitoring marine activity within harbour limits * Assisting with operational and emergency response requirements where necessary * Providing additional support to the wider operations team during quieter crewing periods Previous experience within marine navigation, port operations, shipping, offshore, or a similar maritime environment would be advantageous. However, candidates from associated backgrounds with transferable skills are encouraged to apply, as full training will be provided.
