The position involves a 4-day shift over 7 days, with salary pro-rata for part-time hours.
We are offering a unique opportunity within the Occupational Therapy Acute services for a Practice Development Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will lead the development of Occupational Therapy practices within the acute sector, support operational roles, and collaborate with HEIs to support student education and professional leadership.
You will work with the Occupational Therapy team, providing training and guidance to ensure high standards of clinical care, evidence-based interventions, and alignment with current and future healthcare demands. The role requires innovative approaches to improve service quality and patient outcomes. Essential skills include leadership, service improvement, coaching, and knowledge of improvement methodologies. Prior experience in clinical leadership roles and a strong understanding of the acute OT role are essential.
Qualifications include a degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, registration with the HCPC, and a Master's level education is desirable.
