Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Mitcham, Greater London

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Mitcham, Greater London who need a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The position is full time for 40 hours per week, along with 1 in 4 weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
About the practice:
This is an established practice with all the latest diagnostic technology and facilities. If you have an advanced surgical bias, then the facilities are well suited to this passion. The practice sees a wide variety of cases including more complex surgeries which enables the development of clinical skills and knowledge.

About the role
The role will involve all aspects of veterinary work on top of working closely both fellow team members and the clinical director. The practice boasts a professional and friendly team of 2 vets, 4 nurses and 1 SVN, along with supporting non-clinical staff.
The right candidate would be passionate about clinical coaching, teaching and mentoring colleagues. They will be comfortable with most veterinary medicine and surgical procedures. Areas of special interest and certificates are supported and funded. Ideally the vet will be looking for a position where they can continue to develop their clinical knowledge and levels of experience. Excellent communication skills are essential in order to educate pet owners.There is a generous package which is commensurate with experience.

Package:
24. Salary: Up to £60, per annum, commensurate to experience
