About the Role
Join for the Salaried General Practitioner in Wandsworth – SW London role at Practice Plus Group at the Junction health Centre. This exciting new position is open for either newly qualified or experienced GP covering 8am–8pm Fridays. The practice emphasizes teamwork and high quality patient care with routine appointments at 15 minutes. It presents an excellent opportunity for a qualified GP who would like to work closely with the management team to deliver a safe and efficient service.
The practice has 8,300 registered patients and offers an Access Hub service that provides treatment and advice for a wide range of minor illnesses and injuries as well as long‑term conditions. It also offers the typical primary care services including immunisations, women’s health, health promotion and screening.
The Practice is an active member of the Primary Care Network (PCN) and engages in new projects to improve delivery of primary care. The PCN has recruited several staff through the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (physiotherapists, pharmacists, paramedics, physician associates, social prescribers and associate psychologists), enhancing patient access.
What You’ll Be Doing
Scheduling 8am–8pm Fridays and contributing to patient care at a family‑friendly NHS GP surgery. Emphasis on teamwork and high‑quality patient care.
Qualifications & Experience
* GMC registration certificate and inclusion on the GP Performers List with a valid CCT.
* Experience confidently managing acute and chronic presentations for both adult and paediatric patients, with a proven ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care.
* Excellent listening and communication skills, experience in urgent care assessment, and strong IT/keyboard skills.
