Quality Control Engineer

Join the team as a Quality Control Engineer and help make sure every product leaving the doors meets the high standards customers expect. You'll take the lead on inspections, problem‑solving, and driving improvements across production, engineering, and supply chain activities.
What you'll do
Carry out inspections and audits to spot defects early and keep quality on track.
Improve processes by developing practical quality checks, standards, and documentation.
Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and put preventative actions in place.
Analyse quality data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Support supplier assessments and customer quality enquiries.
What you'll need
Degree in electronic, mechanical, or related engineering field.
Background in quality engineering or quality control within a technical environment.
Strong understanding of UK/MOD standards, ISO 9001, and quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, and root‑cause analysis.
Great attention to detail, clear communication skills, and confidence working across teams.
Organised, methodical, and comfortable managing multiple tasks at pace
