First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Chef De Partie on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Preparing food
2. Ensure that all food is served at a safe and appropriate temperature using probes where necessary
3. Maintaining excellent standards
4. Assisting in the preparation and cooking
5. Assisting with menu changes
6. Cleaning down the kitchen at the end of service
7. Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene
8. Maintain sufficient stock levels of all food
9. To aid stocktaking in conjunction with the Head Chef
10. To undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager
11. Assisting the manager replenishing stock ensuring comply with stock rotation requirements
12. Take all reasonable steps to protect the health, safety and welfare of all employees, patrons and visitors, by promoting safe working practices
13. Ensuring that all faults and defects, equipment, tools, buildings, etc., within the remit of the bar and restaurant are reported to your line manager are reported
14. To undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager as and when required
15. Take all reasonable steps to protect the health, safety and welfare of all employees, patrons and visitors, by promoting safe working practices
16. Comply with company policies, rules and procedures at all times
17. Any other duties as required by your line manager commensurate with your role
Skills and Qualifications:
18. Have a passion for food, hospitality and be a team player
19. Good communication skills
20. Be willing to learn
21. Have or willing to work towards Food Safety & Food Hygiene Certificate
Location: Carnforth, Lancaster
Salary: £11.44 Per Hour
