Graduate Academic Mentor – Secondary School Support – Stockport

Salary: £89–£95 per day

Overview:
We are recruiting for a driven and enthusiastic Graduate Academic Mentor to join a thriving secondary school in Stockport. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are keen to make an impact on students’ education and well-being, while gaining experience that supports career goals in teaching, educational psychology, or youth support work.
Your Role Will Include:
* Providing targeted academic support to students in KS3 and KS4, especially in core subjects (Maths, English, Science)
* Running small group or 1:1 intervention sessions for underachieving students or those with additional needs
* Collaborating with classroom teachers and the SEND team to deliver differentiated support
* Supporting pupil engagement, organisation, and confidence in learning
* Helping students prepare for assessments and develop revision strategies
* Contributing to behaviour and well-being strategies as part of the wider pastoral team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
