Role A database administrator to maintain the customers' databases up and running 24/7/365. This role will be part of the Professional Services DBA team. Responsibilities Deploy & maintain the databases for our internal & customers' systems. Troubleshoot database issues, including performance, and identify applicable solutions. Create & improve customer experience via product-gap-bridging tools such as scripts and automation applications. Create & improve customer support internal processes with emphasis on database processes. Collaborate with team knowledge sharing. Take part in product-related investigations in the database. Take part in system upgrades. Response to all critical service issues, including at out of office hours. Qualifications Knowledge & Experience in any SQL technology, with preference for the following: SQL Server, PostgreSQL KNowledge & Experience in any noSQL technology, with preference for the following: MongoDB, ES (At least one of the 3: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) DB related knowledge & experience to include: Deployment, problem solving, performance tunning, code writing. Knowledge & Experience administrating Linux servers, including shell writing, and operating Windows Server. Advantage Knowledge & Experience with SAP ASE. 3 years of experience with at least one of the preferred SQL tech *and* MongoDB. Familiarity with performance tools for relevant DBs. Ability to write simple utilities in Bash, PS, Python, C# .
