We're looking for dedicated online English Tutors to support our cohort of GCSE students as they prepare for their upcoming exams. About you
Strong understanding of the GCSE English curriculum
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a UK school setting as a: HLTA
* Cover Supervisor
* Teaching Assistant
* Teacher
* Tutor
* Experience supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Ability to build rapport and adapt teaching strategies to individual learning styles
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective online tuition in GCSE English Language and/or Literature.
* Support students in developing their reading, writing, and analytical skills, while building exam confidence.
* Tailor sessions to meet individual learning needs, interests, and academic goals.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support continued development.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications
* Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
* Expertise with the Science curriculum
* Experience of working with learners with SEN
Eligibility & Requirements
* Hold right to work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide references upon request
* Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
