About This Role Job Title: SEND Teacher Location: Trafford Salary: £140-£260 a day dependent on experience Leader Education are looking for SEND Teacher to join an all through Special School in the Trafford Area. You will be working at a school who support children with Severe Learning Difficulties. You will be responsible for Teaching a class of ability rather than age and will follow a carefully planned curriculum around life skills rather than the national curriculum. You will have a strong understanding of EHCP's and be able to plan your lessons appropriately and effectively use the support of the Teaching Assistants in the classroom. This is a 360 role so you will be required to cover all aspects of the Teacher role. This is full-time and is a temp to perm role. Role Requirements This role requires you to have a Teaching Qualification alongside QTS. ECT's will be considered for this role as long as you have a strong background in SEND previously. You will be a specialist in working with SEND and have a strong understanding of adapting lessons to hit EHCP targets. Above all else you will be dedicated to getting the best out of your class and helping them progress in all areas of their development.
