What you’ll do on a typical day:
Unload and load vehicles, including moving curtains and securing loads with strapping
* Operate FLT equipment such as Reach Truck or Counterbalance (where trained and authorised)
* Check the quality and condition of stock and pallets on arrival, during picking, and prior to dispatch
* Use the RF system to receipt goods, marshal stock, put items away, pick orders, and load vehicles
* Replenish stock locations to ensure efficient picking
* Pick orders accurately while following all health and safety procedures
* Carry out general warehouse duties as required to support the wider team
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Good communication skills, along with good listening skills
* Self -motivated with the ability to prioritise workloads and work using own initiative
* Reach Truck or Counterbalance license is preferred
* Ability to complete manual handling tasks
