Business Development Manager – Water Hygiene & Treatment Services
Location: Berkshire office (covering South East England, primarily London)
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 base + Car Allowance + Commission + Bonus + Pension + Healthcare + Profit Share
OTE: £65K+

About the Role
We're seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in the water hygiene and treatment services sector. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, building long-term relationships, and positioning our solutions as essential for compliance, sustainability, and operational excellence.
This is a hands-on role, combining strategic business development with direct engagement with clients, where your expertise in water hygiene, Legionella control, and treatment services will set you apart.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target Facilities Management companies and end-users across the South East (especially London).
* Build and maintain strong relationships with facilities managers, compliance officers, procurement teams, and end users.
* Position water hygiene and treatment services as solutions to client pain points, ensuring compliance with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01.
* Collaborate with operations, technical teams, and engineers to deliver tailored solutions.
* Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand market presence.
* Prepare and deliver proposals, tenders, and client presentations.
* Negotiate and close deals while maintaining profitability.
* Provide market insight and feedback to senior leadership.
What You'll Bring
* Proven business development experience in water hygiene or facilities management.
* Deep understanding of water hygiene legislation and compliance standards.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* CRM experience to manage pipelines and track leads.
* Full UK driving licence.
