We are a local domestic gas and plumbing company. We are looking for a fully qualified gas engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.
*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. We are a very customer focused business offering the highest levels of service and professionalism to all customers, concentrating on high quality workmanship and ensuring all work completed adheres to regulations. .
This position is offered with a competitive salary day to day, you will be attending pre-booked appointments, such as boiler servicing, gas safety certificates, water and gas leaks and general plumbing/heating works.
The working week is Monday to Friday
Starting at 7.45am This position is offered with an immediate start
*Duties*
* Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential and commercial properties.
* Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely.
* Troubleshoot heating system issues and perform necessary repairs.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
*Requirements*
* Be competent working as a team or individually
* Able to install boilers and full central heating systems
* Able to do all aspects of plumbing
* An industry recognised qualification such as Plumbing SNVQ, NVQ or City & Guilds
* ACS certification e.g. (CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, HTR1, CKR1, CPA1).
* Own their own tools
* Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and equipment relevant to the trade.
* A valid manual driving licence
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Capability to perform heavy lifting as part of the job requirements.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
