Job Summary: CNOOC are seeking an experienced front-line operations support Electrical Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. Based full time in the Aberdeen office and reporting directly to the Scott Onshore Superintendent, this role primarily focuses on providing technical operations support and expertise in electrical engineering for both the Scott and Golden Eagle platforms. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality technical assistance across various electrical engineering issues and acting as the representative for all electrical-related matters across the business, following directives from asset management. The position also involves managing multiple operational challenges by effectively prioritizing and delegating tasks to maintenance and engineering teams as needed. Additionally, the role requires the ability to succinctly communicate key operational issues to asset management. Furthermore, it involves monitoring the performance and health of electrical systems to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. Collaboration with offshore teams is essential to troubleshoot and address issues promptly.
