Job Title: Building Surveyor
Contract Length: 12 Months
Location: Primarily Cumbria (with occasional travel to Manchester for team meetings)
Rate: Up to £450 per day (Umbrella)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
We are currently seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join a high-profile infrastructure organisation on a long-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong surveying background and familiarity with rail or infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage surveying works across various sites, predominantly in the Cumbria region.
Conduct site visits on a near-daily basis (a company vehicle and fuel card will be provided).
Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver surveying activities in line with project goals.
Attend occasional team meetings at the Manchester-based office.Essential Criteria:
Degree in Surveying or equivalent industry-recognised training.
Membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g. RICS, CIOB, etc.).
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.Safety Competencies:

ACDC (Associated Competencies for Direct Current systems)
