Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to support children aged 4 to 16 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. You will play a key role in a structured and supportive provision that values emotional regulation and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:

Working closely with students who have social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.

Assisting with the delivery of structured and individualised activities.
*
Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
*
Supporting students in developing emotional regulation and effective communication skills.
*
Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to apply successful learning strategies.
Required Experience and Qualifications:

Proven SEMH experience in a primary school or specialist setting.
*
Strong behaviour management skills with a patient, resilient, and nurturing approach.
*
Previous experience supporting children with additional needs.
*
Ability to build rapport and foster trust with students and colleagues alike.
