Assistant Accountant – Permanent – Full–Time – up to 30,000
Astute Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a rapidly growing nationwide company seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. This is a permanent, full–time role with excellent opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and maintain reconciliations, allocations, and balance sheet accounts
* Support Accounts Payable, including accruals for operational expenses
* Assist with transactional bookkeeping and daily accounting tasks
* Work across multiple sites using Sage Intacct and company billing systems
* Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting
* Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations
* Support growth initiatives, including integration of new acquisitions
Requirements
* AAT Level 3 or 4 preferred
* Proven experience in full–function accounts
* Strong skills in reconciliations, allocations, and balance sheet management
* Confident with Accounts Payable processes and accruals
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience with multi–site financial systems preferred
* Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
* Long–term commitment and willingness to grow with the business
