We’re looking for full-time Qualified Social Workers who can bring empathy, creativity, and a genuine commitment to making a difference. In this role, you’ll support individuals to achieve their goals, build on their strengths, and live independently in a place they call home.
If you’re not yet AMHP-qualified, Lancashire County Council is committed to supporting your development and can help you achieve this qualification.
This permanent role is based in East Lancashire (Hyndburn and Ribble Valley), as part of our dedicated Adult Services Mental Health Team.

Responsibilities
* Undertake and review assessments of need, risk and capacity.
* Sourcing and commissioning care, undertaking duty tasks and supporting discharge planning whilst working as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team.
* As part of the Community Mental Health Transformation in Lancashire, there is a renewed focus on collaboration and coproduction with internal/external professionals, community services, carer and the people we are supporting.
* This fast-paced role involves working with adults with a range of mental health difficulties who require statutory interventions.
Qualifications and requirements
* Full-time Qualified Social Worker (AMHP qualification welcomed but not required at start).
* Social Work England (SWE) registration to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied to register with SWE.
* A car for use in connection with duties of the post and insured for business use (we may consider applicants unable to drive due to a disability).
