RecQuest is working on behalf of an ambitious law firm looking to expand its Family Law team and seeking a dedicated Locum Family Law Solicitor to join them in Weybridge. They are searching for a motivated individual with 5+ years PQE, experienced in handling family law matters, who can manage and grow an existing caseload.
Please note this is a Locum position which is required until notice. There is not a set period or fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing expert legal advice on family law matters, including divorce, separation, financial settlements, and cohabitation agreements.
* Advising on matters related to child arrangements, parental responsibility, and disputes.
* Drafting pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements tailored to clients' needs.
* Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiations, ensuring their best interests are upheld.
* Handling sensitive cases involving domestic abuse and emergency injunctions.
* Advising on alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation and collaborative law.
What They Offer:
* Competitive salary range: £45,000 – £60,000
* Full-time, permanent role
* Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (minimum 5 years PQE) with experience in Family Law matters.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to independently manage a busy caseload.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in handling sensitive and emotional client situations.
* A compassionate, client-focused approach combined with business acumen to help build and grow the firm's client base.
* Previous experience using case management systems.
