STACK is delighted to offer two scholarships for female students looking to pursue undergraduate STEM degrees at university. STACK is committed to helping underserved communities, promoting social mobility, and developing the next generation of diverse industry leaders who otherwise may have been unable to fund a university education.
Data centres are the backbone of digital innovation and the sector offers a dynamic and exciting career for ambitious individuals from a wide array of backgrounds. Building and nurturing the skillset needed to support the digital economy is essential for STACK, the data centre community, and the wider tech ecosystem.
What’s on offer?
£12,000 annual funding: To cover tuition fees and living expenses for 3-4 years.
Additional Support: Selected scholars are likely to have access to mentorship, internship opportunities, and exclusive events throughout your studies
Requirements:
1. Identify as female
2. Are about to undertake a 3-4 year STEM degree (students who are currently in sixth form will be given priority)
3. Are eligible to pay UK domestic tuition fees
4. Are from a lower socioeconomic background (as defined by the Social Mobility Commission)
About you:
5. You have a demonstrable interest in the tech sector
6. You can (and want to) communicate with a diverse range of people globally
7. You have good organisational skills and are highly motivated
8. You are willing to take on feedback and develop professionally
