We are now seeking a confident and commercially astute Team Leader Proposals & Technical Sales to oversee the development of high-quality technical proposals while supporting and mentoring a growing team.
This is a key leadership role with real scope to shape customer experience, drive operational performance, and strengthen the companys technical sales offering.
Key Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of the Aftermarket & Proposals team, supporting the department manager and stepping in when required Review and approve technical and commercial proposals to ensure quality, competitiveness, and customer fit Provide expert consultation on retrofit, upgrade, and parts solutions for industrial clients Contribute to strategic pricing, costing, and pipeline management Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring excellent service and solution delivery Coach and develop team members while managing performance, absence, and development plans Participate in continuous improvement activities and EHS (Zone 8) initiatives Work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and operational teams to enhance service delivery What Were Looking For A strong technical sales or project management background, ideally in industrial engineering or manufacturing Proven experience developing proposals, leading teams, and engaging with customers Degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering, Business, or Management Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders CRM experience desirable; MS Office proficiency essential Customer-focused mindset with a drive for improvement and innovation Why This Role?
