As an Audit Manager at Dains Accountants, you will be joining a highly respected audit team that prides itself on delivering high quality outcomes with a friendly and consultative approach. You will work across multiple sectors, forming trusted relationships with owner‑managed businesses and collaborating across the wider Dains firm. Key Responsibilities
* Manage your own portfolio of clients and build trusting and respectful working relationships.
* Carry out planning, executing and finalising audit assignments.
* Assist with the development of systems and procedures.
* Ensure that the highest standards of quality and accuracy are met at all times.
* Serve as a leader in team leadership, line management and career development.
* Guide and mentor junior team members.
* Motivate and support team members to achieve their goals.
* Lead the review process of audit files to ensure completion is in line with best auditing practice.
* Provide advice to clients where action and improvement is required, in a constructive and professional manner.
* Work closely with directors and partners of the audit team in a collaborative and supportive manner.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Obtain ACA/ACCA professional qualifications.
* Build strong client relationship management experience.
* Demonstrate confidence and tenacity to develop team members.
* Exhibit good time management skills and ability to deliver quality results.
* Show willingness and conscientiousness to deliver high quality results.
