Join Nottinghamshire's Community Nursing teams and make a difference! We’re looking for kind, caring and compassionate individuals who want to grow their nursing career. Whether you have community experience or not, we welcome you to be part of our supportive and highly encouraging team.
You will join a highly supportive team that is dedicated to your growth and development. As part of our commitment to your professional advancement, we offer the National Care Certificate Programme for individuals in bands 2‑4, providing extensive learning opportunities. Additionally, we provide an apprenticeship pathway that enables you to progress to the role of a Registered Nurse Associate at Band 4 level and a further top‑up to registered nurse. These comprehensive pathways give the necessary support and resources to flourish in your Community Nursing career.
Main duties of the job
Our Community Nursing teams take pride in the positive impact they have on patients’ lives every day. You will develop skills in wound care, palliative care, continence care and the care of patients with long‑term conditions. If you have the passion, drive and ability to deliver high‑quality care, we want you to join #TeamNottsHC.
Collaboration is key in Nottinghamshire, and we work closely with colleagues across the region to provide a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to care delivery. Join us and enjoy the autonomy to manage your own working day, make clinical decisions for your patients and be part of a supportive environment.
With bases in Mansfield, Ashfield, Bassetlaw, Newark, Sherwood, Rushcliffe, Broxtowe and Gedling, we offer a great location with mixed rural and urban areas. Some of our bases provide easy access to the M1 between junctions 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 30. During your days off, explore nearby Sherwood Forest, the legendary home of Robin Hood, or immerse yourself in the vibrant dynamic atmosphere of Nottingham City and the many other attractions of Nottinghamshire.
