Job Description
Inspect complex aerospace components using first principles, precision tools, and CMMs.
Run CMMs and interpret results, including validating new products before batch production.
Complete FAI (First Article Inspection) reports to AS9100 standards using Visual FAI software.
Conduct MSA / R&R studies and interpret findings to maintain measurement accuracy.
Develop Quality Assurance Documents (QADs) to define in-process checks for operational teams.
Perform visual inspections against customer drawings and standard work instructions, including setting visual standards.
Calibrate product tooling as required.
Maintain complete traceability of inspection paperwork and records.Quality Inspector
Person Specification
Time-served engineer/inspector with proven experience in first-principle inspection of complex parts.
Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, including ISO geometric tolerances.
Knowledge of problem-solving techniques and quality tools.
Meticulous, conscientious, and detail-oriented.
Able to work effectively under pressure, independently or as part of a team.
