Job Title: Area Sales Manager, Midlands
Reporting to: UK Sales Manager
Responsible For: Sales
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Relationship Management
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers across the Midlands
* Manage all sales activities within the territory, including quotes, enquiries, and order processing.
* Identify new business opportunities and implement strategies to increase sales and customer retention.
* Conduct product demonstrations, negotiations, and installations with professionalism and product knowledge.
* Handle technical or repair queries within your territory and troubleshoot any issues with equipment, forward to correct channels if resolution cannot be achieved.
Territory & Business Management
* Plan and manage your own schedule, including client visits, expenses, and reporting.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, visits, and sales activities using the company’s CRM system.
* Collaborate with the UK Sales Manager to ensure alignment with company sales strategies and targets.
Product knowledge and Promotion
* Be proactive in learning about new and existing products to achieve successful customer demonstrations, negotiations, and installations.
* Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions in Ireland and occasionally in the UK.
* Foster effective communication with internal departments and subsidiaries.
* Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
